Invest Time to Develop a Winning Mindset

There’s a reason why Arianna Huffington (President of Huffington Post) and Oprah Winfrey take time to work on their mindset every day – meditation and mindfulness help create a winning attitude in work and life. It can transform challenges into opportunities and help you stay on top of your goals. You may be balancing work, study and a personal life but taking 15-20minutes of your day to set your intentions and visualise success can help alleviate stress and focus on the tasks that matter.

Adopt a Routine

Many say if you fail to plan, you plan to fail. Creating a structured routine for yourself allows you to maintain organisation, anticipating what needs to happen next- this is especially important if you are trying to balance a career, studying and a family. Being organised frees up more time for creative projects and activities both in and outside of the workplace. Plan your days a week in advance and allocate a block of hours for studying, work and quality time with your loved ones.

Organise Your Desk

If your workspace is clear, your mind will be too! Make sure your desk is always neat and tidy and if you have your own office make sure the space is clean. Studies have shown that working in an organised environment can help increase your productivity allowing you to better achieve your goals.

Maintain a Healthy Lifestyle

Eat well, exercise regularly, and take care of yourself, this is the most vital part to success. Regular exercise is a key driver of enhanced mental performance and also helps to increase your energy levels. Making sure you have a healthy fitness routine and diet also gives you the strength you need to achieve the goals you set for yourself. Wake up 2 hours before you need to leave the house. Allocate 1 hour to exercise and meditation and 1 hour to prepare for the day.

Be Task Driven

When you are juggling priorities, it’s best to tackle your day one task at a time. Schedule each task and the time frame it will take to complete it. This will allow you to keep focused and have your tasks completed by deadline.
