- Supervised on-campus practical training and assessment sessions (64 days minimum in course);

What is the course duration?

What is VET?

Australia’s Vocational Education and Training (VET) system is based on nationally endorsed industry training packages which identify specific skills and knowledge applied in the workplace. Students’ undertaking a VET qualification must demonstrate the skills and knowledge identified in a training package and be assessed as ‘competent’ in the selected units of competency to be eligible for the award of the qualification.

What is The Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF)?

The Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) is the national policy for regulated qualifications in Australian education and training.

It incorporates the qualifications from each education and training sector into a single comprehensive national qualifications framework.

What is a Unique Student Identifier (USI)?

If you are studying nationally recognised training in Australia, you will be required to have a Unique Student Identifier (USI).

Your USI links to an online account that contains all your training records andresults (transcript) that you have completed from 1 January 2015 onwards.

When applying for a job or enrolling in further study, you will often need to provide your training records and results (transcript). One of the main benefits of the USI is the ability to provide students with easy access to their training records and results (transcript) throughout their life. You can access your USI account online from your computer, tablet, or smart phone anytime. It is free and easy to create your own USI and will only take a few minutes of your time.

There are several unique circumstances where a person may be exempt from requiring a USI. These donot apply to the vast majority of learners in Australia. The USI Exemption Table is available from the USI website which explains these circumstances. Individuals who have a genuine personal objection to being assigned a USI can apply for an exemption to the Student Identifiers Registrar. Individuals who have been exempted must show the original of this notice to their training organisation.

What is the difference between Blended and On-Campus learning?

Blended combines online (self guided) study with on-campus supervised learning.

On-campus only learning, requires more attendance and study in person.

What are your campus locations?

Though we have locations in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane, currently Sydney is the only campus that is offering strictly 'On-Campus' learning. The others are opening soon again.
Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane are offering Blended sessions though.

Do you offer Government funding?

Our college is covered by Government Study Loans for eligible students.

Can I choose only the units I want to do?

To gain the full Diploma, you will need to complete all the units of study.

What time does class start & finish?

Classes go between 9am-4.30pm

What is recognition of prior learning?

Recognition of Prior Learning is a process where you may clearly show that you have already gained the equivalent skills, or knowledge against certain units.  You may be granted recognition of prior learning for unit(s) of competency. An RPL Kit is available from the college.
