Melbourne Our Unique Approach to Learning

Just as no two skins are alike, no two students are alike either. Which is why we champion and support the individual to learn in a way that suits them.”

Pippa Hallas, Ella Baché CEO

We’re proud to offer the same customised approach to your education as we do our clients and their skin care regime.

The pathway to your bright new career in beauty.

Our expert education team

Not only are they respected educators but many of our trainers have had invaluable experience as industry leaders as salon owners, industry innnovators, and skin therapists both locally and globally. Their wisdom, mentorship, and practical business advice leave a lasting impression on our graduates.

Career pathway

We have successfully guided over 85% of our graduates into placements within the beauty industry at large, including international resorts and hotels, cruise ships, wellness centres, and day spas.

We are also the largest employer of beauty therapists in the country. Many of our graduates find their dream job within our Ella Baché network of over 150 salons and David Jones locations nationally, and in our Sydney HQ.

Practical work experience

Hands-on, practical experience in the beauty industry is the key to your success as a beauty therapist. Before graduation, you will undergo 150 hours of work experience in a professional salon.

Be part of the growth industry

The beauty industry is booming with continued growth in employment opportunities for beauty therapists predicted by The Australian Industry and Skills Committee. Population and income growth, in addition to an appearance-driven society, continue to boost opportunities for graduates.

Win a $10,000 business grant

Each Ella Baché College student is given the opportunity to present and be assessed on a business plan for opening their own Ella Baché franchise. Each year, we award the winning graduate a $10,000 grant to put towards opening their own salon.
