The Ella Bache story started in 1936 with a revolutionary cosmetic chemist, Madame Bache.
A modern woman, she was determined, intelligent and ambitious – traits that our Ella Bache Franchisees and Therapists resemble today. Madame Bache had a belief, that improving the condition of a women’s skin would not only improve their overall appearance, but it could also make them feel confident in the skin their in. Recognising that the standard way of diagnosing the skin types by dry, oil or normal was over simplistic, she moved skincare into a new era, where solutions were individually tailored based on the skins condition at a cellular level.
A belief system like this is what ensued Ella Bache to become a unique Australian story, thanks to the inspiration of Edit Hallas, married to Madame Baches cousin, Edith brought Ella Bache to Australia in 1954, leading her on a lifetime journey resulting in the creation of one of Australia’s most enduring and respected skincare companies.

Business Management Support
With the purchase of your salon, we assign you to your own Business Manager… think of them like your knight in shining armour – they are there to give support and promote the growth of your salon. Prior to the big opening day, they are with you every step, these are your first crucial weeks and for us it becomes our top priority that you succeed.
Education and Training
Education and knowledge remain at the forefront of Ella Bache – it has enabled us to become the brand we are today. So, for you and your team we provide education tools and access to support when needed on the latest skincare treatments, techniques and products – this designed to maintain and improve your product and treatment sales, whilst effectively merchandising your salon and educating you and your team on campaign strategies and promotional activities.
Help always at hand
We’ve said it before and we will say it again, help is always readily available, your business manager only ever a phone call away. Need business coaching, business planning and goal setting? We’re here! Throughout the first three months of opening we will sit down to create and implement marketing plans for your opening along with face to face reviews to help plan and set milestones for you and your business.
Training and Support
Your success within the Ella Bache network is imperative to us, as this is where we see you thrive in your dream job. To gain your full potential we employ expert field trainers to assist you with support on the national promotion programs, in salon training providing you with superior knowledge on products and services, along with product schools, workshops and skincare seminars. As a new franchisee, you will receive five days of training and coaching prior to your salon opening. You will also receive ongoing support for the first two weeks from your Business Manager and Field Trainer to ensure you, and your team is ready for action!
