Known for our outstanding, quirky and often humorous advertising, in September 2004 we launched our latest ad campaign with the message "Skin good enough to eat".

The adverts celebrate the confidence you feel when your skin is in great health.  Posed naked on chopsticks, a food whisk, dripping from a honey dipper or relaxing in a ladle, the women illustrate how Ella Baché treatments result in “Skin good enough to eat”.

Comments Ella Baché CEO, Karen Matthews, “ Ella Baché are Australia’s leading skincare salons, with over 200 franchises and distributors nationwide.  It was important that our advertising communicated the overall feeling you get from a personalised treatment, not just talking about the ingredients or detailed benefits of some of the products.”

The campaign was developed by independent Australian agency BMF, who have worked closely with Ella Baché over the past three years, in which the Ella Baché business has seen a successful turnaround.

“Skin good enough to eat” was created by Executive Creative Director Warren Brown, working with internationally acclaimed photographer Andreas Smetana.

“Our goal was to create iconic imagery for Ella Baché that captured the spirit of the brand and celebrates “great skin”.  Ella Baché gave us the opportunity to break new ground in the skin care category.”
