What does being BOLD mean to you?
Being bold to me means being effervescent and not being afraid to be who you are.
What has given you the confidence to love the skin you’re in?
For me it has been about embracing my unique traits and not wanting to be like everyone else.
Is there something about you either physical or non-physical that you’ve struggled with over your lifetime?
Confidence has been a little hurdle for me all my life. It’s a mindset where I just have to remember that I have the power to overcome those hurdles.
How do you maintain fresh, glowing skin with your busy day-to-day life?
With my pale skin it’s all about sun care safety and SPF50+ 24 hours a day pretty much. I always also wear a hat and focus on keeping hydrated.
You’ve recently experienced our Help Me Hydrate Facial. Can you tell us about your experience?
This facial was so special to me, it felt targeted to skin care + treatment with an overall focus on massage and relaxation. I felt glowing in my skin in the days afterwards and the Retinol Serum my Beauty Therapist recommended has become a staple in my weekly routine.
Having the guts to be bold, to step out, and to own your career journey is something we admire about our ‘Bold Women’. Did you face any setbacks when you started out?
Yes, I feel like there’s always setbacks no matter what path you choose in life, and they are ongoing. I don’t always remember them at the start but there are always hurdles so it’s just finding ways to navigate around them.
Could you please tell us a little about your career from your beginning to where you are now?
I started working in fashion in my early twenties and then from there working on creative projects led me into the art side of the industry. I’ve never been one to have big 5 year plans, which sometimes isn’t a big strong point however I don’t think I would have ended up where I am if I hadn’t have been going with the flow.
Have you ever had a moment where someone told you something couldn’t be done and you had to hold strong?
Yes for sure. I feel like sometimes I tell myself that I can’t do something however that’s when I realise that the most powerful tool is your perspective, mindset and how to shift that.
Some days we’re all running at a million miles per hour. Do you ever feel like you have bitten off more than you can chew and if so, how do you manage that feeling?
Definitely, there’s been a lot going on lately, especially in this fast paced world we live in! A tool that I use is swimming in the ocean in the morning, I try and do it no matter the weather. I just get in there as much as possible. I also try to work in mediation but I’m not able to do that as much as I would like to.

What’s the boldest decision you’ve made
Working in a creative industry and just having the courage and confidence to back myself and put myself out there.
What BOLD moves have you got planned for 2022?
Travelling is at the top of my list this year
Lastly, if you had 10 seconds of insane courage, what would be the boldest move you’d make?
I’d love to swim with sharks but I don’t know if I would have that much courage, maybe just some gentle sharks.
