From Therapist to Business Leader: What 20 Years in the Ella Baché Network Has Taught Isabella Geremia

For more than two decades, Isabella Geremia has built a career that reflects what is possible within the Ella Baché network. From salon owner to Business Development Manager, mentor, leader and entrepreneur, her journey is a powerful example of how passion, adaptability and a commitment to people can create a thriving business and a fulfilling career.

Today, Isabella co-owns the Ella Baché Eltham salon, a business she has led across two separate periods spanning more than 15 years. For her, the most rewarding part of salon ownership has never been just about skincare.

"It's the relationships," she explains. Building meaningful connections with clients, supporting them through different stages of life and creating positive experiences that leave them feeling confident and cared for is what continues to inspire her every day. Many clients have become lifelong relationships, while the opportunity to serve her local community has created a deep sense of purpose and connection.

Beyond her clients, Isabella is equally passionate about helping others grow. One of the highlights of business ownership has been mentoring therapists, watching their confidence develop and supporting them as they build successful careers of their own.

"You have the opportunity to create a positive workplace culture and help people achieve their goals. Seeing your team succeed is incredibly rewarding."

Like any business owner, Isabella wears many hats. From client care and team leadership to business planning and marketing, every day is different. Rather than seeing this as a challenge, she embraces the constant opportunity to learn and evolve.

"The industry is always changing, and you never stop learning. That's one of the things I enjoy most."

After successfully operating her salon, Isabella spent eight years as Business Development Manager for Victoria and Tasmania, working closely with salon owners across the network. The experience gave her valuable insight into what drives long-term success.

One lesson stood out above all others: adaptability.

"The salons that thrive are the ones that remain open to change, continue learning and stay connected to their clients and teams."

Today, Isabella has come full circle, co-managing Ella Baché Eltham alongside her niece and bringing together generations of experience to continue growing the business.

Having worked both within Head Office and as a franchise owner, Isabella has a unique appreciation for the support available across the Ella Baché network.

"You're in business for yourself, but never by yourself," she says.

From training and education to marketing resources and business support, franchise partners benefit from the strength of an established brand while maintaining the independence to build a business that's uniquely their own.

Looking back on her journey, Isabella believes success comes down to investing in people, embracing change and never losing sight of why you started.

Her story is a reminder that salon ownership isn't simply about running a business. It's about creating opportunities, building meaningful relationships and making a genuine impact in your community.
