How to use

  • For best results exfoliate prior to applying and wash hands and nails with soap immediately after
  • Apply an even layer to cool, dry skin with long, smooth strokes

No bad after smell, at all. Which has kept me from continuing to use other products. I have tried all other top tier off the shelf brands. A friend recommended this one after I smelled her post-tan and I’m not looking back. Lovely colour, easy to use. Can look a little jaundiced with a very light-tan (one application), so I recommend going deeper and the brown comes out, very natural. I was even a little hap-hazard with my application streaks the second time (though I did use moisturiser on the bony areas and other hot spots), no streaking after shower!

Don’t use anything else!!!

This is the BEST! I have been using this since 1996, nothing else compares. Immediate, natural colour. Tip: Make sure you rinse your hands in slow running water after application, for ten mins whilst rubbing on a bar of soap (not liquid soap!) to remove from the underside of your hands. Store in the fridge. Love love love!!!

Difficult to wash off

Good but it stained my hands before I got chance to wash them.I’ve been using fake tan for 60 years so I KNOW to wash my hands immediately but this product was difficult to clean off.

Beautiful natural colour. I am very light skinned so I apply a little extra for a more noticeable tan. Great for my sensitive skin. Been using this for well over 10 years. Nothing compares!

Best tanning product!

This is by far the best tanning product I’ve ever used! I buy it every year for the last 15 years and no one ever knows I ware it until I tell them it’s not my actual skin tone. I usually apply it using the mit, as it’s a lot quicker to get an even coverage with no mess to clean up. Love it!!

I've fair freckled skin, difficult to tan, but Ella Bache Great Tan without Sun gives the best even smooth tan with great moisturising finish.
