A Bond Beyond The Business, It’s A Mother and Daughter Bond.

A Bond Beyond The Business, It’s A Mother and Daughter Bond.

Ella Baché is a proud family owned and operated salon franchise business. Within our network, numerous families have established thriving businesses, dedicated to giving Australians the confidence to love the skin they’re in. As Mother's Day approaches, we hear from three daughters who have the privilege of working side by side with their mothers in their Ella Baché salons, about what inspires them, what they have learnt and the best thing about working with their mums.

How does your mum inspire you?

My mother inspires me in so many ways but one thing that always amazes me is that she continually studies and reads everything about everything. She has a wealth of knowledge and if I don't have the answers, she will always help me find them.

One piece of advice your mum has given you?

To always do things with my heart and kindness and consideration for others.

Best thing about working with your mum?

She is a lot of fun to work with. She fills the salon with good vibes, laughter and positivity making it a welcoming space that is always warm, inviting and nurturing. It lifts my mood and spirit the moment I walk in the door, and you can see it happen with everyone else who does as well.

How does your mum inspire you?

When I was around 10, my Mum began working at Ella Baché Tamworth. A few years later, she took over the business, and I started spending a lot of time there. Through her example, I've learned that it's never too late to pursue your interests. Watching her care for her clients fascinated me. Witnessing how treatments can empower women, and consequently, empower me through helping them, has been incredible.

Thanks to my Mum, I've had the privilege of experiencing both sides of this dynamic. Her compassionate nature shines through in the relationships she forms with her clients. She's an exceptional therapist and continues to inspire me daily to follow in her footsteps.

One piece of advice your mum has given you?

Mum made it very clear when I was younger that you must treat people the way you want to be treated. I still find this relevant now as I meet new clients and build a rapport with them.

Best thing about working with your mum?

Honestly, it feels like we barely see each other at work, constantly in and out of the cubicle, but I cherish the chance to work alongside my Mum. Despite the hectic salon rush, having her there for support and our shared giggles makes it all worth it. I wouldn't have it any other way.

How does your mum inspire you?

My mum inspires me every day, her way of problem solving is incredible; right from the moment I was able to walk & talk she's always been the best problem solver. My mum will always look for the good in people & situations and by doing so, makes the most out of life.

One piece of advice your mum has given you?

I'd say the best piece of advice my Mum's ever given me is to remind myself that everyone is just doing their own thing, so you should just do yours. She reminds me to focus on what I value in life & to always stay true to myself!

Best thing about working with your Mum?

The best part of working together is the way that we communicate, we have a bond that's beyond the business, so we can communicate in a different & deeper way. We love to sit together and brainstorm business ideas for the salon and our team. And just learning from her if there's anyone I'd want to be "like" it's my Mum. Her dedication to this industry & Ella Baché has always made me super proud. To now be following in her steps and be manager for the team/salon I grew up around-it's quite surreal for me!
